Clean and quiet good place to stay

This is an average hotel. We had reserved a room going into Odessa and again when we were coming back after a trip to leave Odessa. Each room had two queen beds. The first night we each got stuck in the bathroom and it took the other person pushing from the outside to be able to get out (first floor room). The person at the desk said the right words of apology, but was unenthusiastic. The second night we noticed a smell in the room (second floor room). We noticed each room had dirt on the floor molding and worn carpeting. One elevator only worked "if you knew the trick", as another boarded shared. We weren't excited about the opportunity to get stuck again. The maintenance notice hung nearby was from May 2026 - "the elevators need modernization." We went to breakfast at 8:30 (it runs from 6:30 to 9:30). There were a few scrambled eggs left, a good bit of bacon, and cubed potatoes in a hamburger and red sauce. Yogurt, oranges, three cereal dispensers, and waffles were available. There was no decaf in the carafe that day. The second day, one of us went to breakfast at 7:00. There was no regular coffee in the carafe. There were plenty of eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as the potato dish. We wont be staying here again.

We were in town for a celebration and our stay was excellent . Didn’t get to enjoy the complimentary drinks or breakfast .. but next time for sure .
